Open Course: Multipitch
For single pitch trad leaders & seconds looking to move on to bigger adventures.
This course focusses on efficient strategies for mountaineering; planning bigger adventures, communication in challenging conditions, organising stances for either alternate or block leads, slick ropework & multipitch abseils. To get the most out of the course you should already be competently leading at VDiff - Severe.
We'll be tackling multipitch from the outset. With dozens of the Lakes' classic routes to choose from we'll be going bigger throughout this course. More importantly though we'll be aiming for your skills to be faster & slicker.
Here at EAMS we do everything possible not to let our clients down. This course has two spaces. But in the event you are the sole client the course will run in a slightly shortened format (think one and a half days, rather than two). This means no waiting to see if your course is going ahead, no confusion, no cancellations or disappointment, once you book on you know your course will be running!
